The quality of the final keepsake begins with the quality of the photograph. Use this guide before uploading an image.
Choose a strong photo
- Use the original image file whenever possible, not a screenshot.
- Choose a sharp image where the eyes and facial features are clear.
- Use natural, even light and avoid heavy shadows.
- Make sure ears, whiskers, and the top of the head are not cropped unless the product example uses a close-up.
- Avoid strong filters, motion blur, extreme zoom, and images downloaded from social media.
- Use one pet unless the product page explicitly supports more.
Backgrounds and composition
A simple background usually produces the cleanest result. Busy surroundings can make accurate cropping more difficult. Leave some space around the pet so the image can be positioned safely.
Image rights
Upload only photographs that you own or have permission to use. Do not upload copyrighted professional images without the photographer’s authorization.
Photo privacy
Uploaded images should be used only as reasonably necessary to prepare, produce, fulfill, and support the order. ORVAYE will not use a customer’s pet photo in advertising without separate permission.
